Cookies & local storage
This page explains how the SA Roleplay User Control Panel uses cookies and similar technologies (including browser local storage). It should be read with our Privacy notice.
What we use
- Essential sign-in storage — a session token and a short account summary in local storage so you stay signed in while you use the panel. Without this, login cannot work.
- Preference storage — optional choices such as sidebar favourites, theme, and whether you dismissed banners. These stay on your device.
- Consent choice — we store whether you accepted optional analytics/fonts preferences so we do not keep asking every visit.
- Third-party requests while a page is open — your browser may contact Google Fonts and Cloudflare cdnjs to load fonts and icons. Those providers receive your IP address as part of serving the file. The panel does not set advertising cookies and does not run ad trackers.
Legal basis (EU / UK)
Essential storage is necessary to provide the service you request (account access). Optional preferences and non-essential third-party font/CDN loading are used only after you accept via the consent banner, or you can continue with essential-only mode.
US state privacy (including California)
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can clear site data in your browser at any time. To request access or deletion, contact staff via Discord (see the Privacy notice).
How to control this
- Use the consent banner choices (Accept all / Essential only).
- Clear site data for
ucp.saroleplay.comin your browser settings to remove local storage and consent. - Block third-party requests with browser extensions if you prefer not to load Google Fonts or cdnjs (the panel still works with system fonts).
